Job Description

The Cashier/Receptionist provides excellent customer service to all customers of the Service Center. He or she receives and processes payments, explains the repair process to customers, and works with the estimators to schedule appointments and ensure bills and invoices are accurate. In addition, the Cashier/Receptionist will complete opening/closing procedures, maintain files of all important documents and customer information, and provide. The ideal candidate for this position has excellent customer service skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and good computer skills. He or she is detail-oriented and good with numbers, has a working knowledge of the industry, and has strong administrative and organizational skills. Automotive dealership experience preferred. Must have a valid driver license.  We offer a flexible schedule, Monday-Saturday. administrative assistance to the advisors.

Job Requirements

Greets customers and delivers excellent customer service both in person and on the phone with a smile and in a friendly professional manner. Ensures protection of customer information by continually following Information Security procedures. Maintains a general understanding of the repair process and explains the process to our customers. Receives payments from customers, records the amount received, takes change due, and issues receipt to customer. Reviews customer bill with advisor when vehicle is ready for pick up and writes clear instructions on the repair order for delivering the vehicle. Coordinates with rental car provider to help our customers in rental and rental return. Reconciles cash drawer. Partners with estimators to schedule appointments per procedures. Files within appropriate file system all body shop forms, records, reports, correspondence, or other important material. Creates purchase orders for all body shop invoices and adds appropriate charges to repair orders. Keeps repair order current by entering appropriate charges. Provides clerical and secretarial assistance to estimators. Completes opening and closing procedures. Performs other duties as assigned
