Automotive Sales & Leasing Consultant 
Selling both New and Pre-Owned Vehicles

Our Sales & Leasing Consultants are extremely knowledgeable about each vehicle and offered services; the industry as a whole; and our market. We ensure that each team member on our sales floor is versed in vehicle selection, performance, accessories, efficiencies, safety features and functions, and financing options. We accomplish this through several in-depth sales training courses that certify our sales representatives in techniques, product knowledge and presentation. Huffines Sales & Leasing Consultants are self-starters and expected to maintain their customer's information and perform regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction is being exceeded! 
The ideal candidate requirements are:

• Ability to work well in a process driven environment. 
• One year of automotive sales preferred.
The successful Automotive Sales & Leasing Consultant;
  • Approaches, greets, and offers assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot.
  • Interviews customer to determine vehicle needs and wants and enters the customer information into the designated software system.
  • Provides electronic and phone customer service and sales assistance.
  • Using a product presentation, explains fully product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.
  • Describes all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
  • Attends product and sales training courses and meetings.
  • Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers.
  • Writes complete sales orders and processes paperwork following established dealership policies.
  • Prepares sold vehicles for customer delivery prior to customer arrival.
  • Follows up with customer purchases to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Establishes personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity and devises a strategy to meet those goals.
  • Maintains a prospect development system.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
In addition to background checks, Huffines performs pre-employment and random drug testing.
