Automotive Shop Foreman

The ideal candidate has at least three years of dealer-level or large facility experience, including some previous management experience. He or she has current upper level certifications or designations in FCA’s field of automotive repair or is willing to obtain. An unrestricted driver's license, a clean driving record, and a strong technical and customer service performance record is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong leadership and management skills, and reasonable computer skills are necessary. REYNOLDS and REYNOLDS DMS experience is a positive. 
The Automotive Shop Foreman is responsible for the overall efficiency, profitability, and reputation of our auto shop operations. He or she oversees the quality, timeliness, and fashion in which auto repair services are performed and delivered to our valued customers.
 
Responsibilities
  • Oversees the daily management and activities of all technicians.
  • Assist technicians when needed, utilizing and/or facilitating manufactures support if necessary.
  • Ensures all service level targets are met or exceeded.
  • Manages and mentors staff, including recruiting/hiring/training of all employees, overseeing HR/payroll, managing issues of discipline/termination, ensuring ongoing training/education, etc.
  • Manages budget and finances.
  • Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures
  • Optimizes customer value and profitability by creating and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and coordinating resolution of customer conflicts in a manner that does not compromise the customer's interest, while maintaining appropriate attention to department profits.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
